The Biltong has gone Bonkers. We have always struggled to make enough biltong for our orders, we have been taking it in turns to come in at weekends to check the drying and produce more. Now we are going to have to double time it! What a wonderful problem to have, albeit I don’t think our wives will see it that way.
I started making beef and game biltong as a youngster with my South African cousin – he taught me the SA way…. One day back in my native UK I was chatting to Mr Game Capture Justin and we thought we would give UK biltong making a go. A few years on we now think we have the best biltong available in the UK.
We only use the silver side cut and then add in our magic formula to produce our biltong which we can not make fast enough. Exciting times ahead………
